Fernando Martinez, Ph.D is a Field Application Engineer with Synfora focusing on helping customers create video and communication processing platforms for both ASIC and FPGA. Key focus is on simplifying and automating the FPGA design process.

Fernando received his Ph.D from Illinois Institute of Technology. His hobbies are scuba diving, tennis, and playing the saxophone. He has also been involved in both national and international panels discussing DSP design on FPGA.
