Erach D. Desai, Principal, DESAIsive Technology Research

Erach currently works as an independent consultant in the areas of market strategy and financial analysis for the electronics economy (semiconductors, electronics infrastructure, and applied technologies). In that vein, he provides services to professional investment firms, technology enterprises, business & financial media organizations, and various regulatory agencies.

Erach brings more than twenty years of investment research and high tech industry experience. He earned top three rankings in Institutional Investor’s All-America, Greenwich and Reuters polls while at Credit Suisse, and he co-founded AmTech Research where he covered semiconductors and technical software. Erach also spent eight years in the high tech industry, including product marketing roles at Cadence Designs Systems, and design engineering roles at LSI Logic and VLSI Technology.

Erach graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from MIT, and later earned his MBA at MIT's Sloan School of Management.
